To capture performance excellence, Ohio organizations
will have to be more innovative, strategic, flexible,
and results driven.
OPE focuses on improving organizational performance.
Benefits include increasing productivity, increasing
customer and employee satisfaction, and achieving
stronger financial performance. The Baldrige assessment
process is results driven.
The Baldrige assessment process is administered
by the Ohio Partnership for Excellence. They are
well positioned to act as a conduit to help Ohio's
businesses, schools, hospitals, and governmental
entities leverage strengths so they can respond
quickly and effectively to the challenges that lie
ahead.
The success of the Baldrige assessment process is
two-fold. It identifies the key components that
create excellence within the organization, but more
importantly, it defines how the process of creating
excellence can be accomplished with predictable,
reliable and repeatable results.
The mission of an organization drives its goals.
Set your goals high. Excellence can be achieved.

“From the early days of our Baldrige journey,
The Ohio Partnership for Excellence has been
a valuable resource providing extraordinary
learning, benchmarking, and feedback opportunities.
Our first Ohio Award for Excellence (OPE)
Conference inspired us to begin a performance
excellence journey.
The OPE has trained our associates to be examiners,
it has taught our leadership team to write
an application, and most important it has
given our organization a blueprint to build
a process-driven business model that links
everything we do to what we believe. We are
proud to be active members of the Ohio Partnership
for Excellence and I would recommend the OPE
to any organization interested in using the
Baldrige criteria to drive innovation and
build sustainability.”
